This standard includes ISO 9001: 2000 ) quality management system requirements and specifies additional requirements for a quality management system for the aerospace industry. The additional aerospace requirements are shown in bold, italic text.
It is emphasized that the quality management system requirements specified in this standard are complementary (not alternative) to contractual and applicable law and regulatory requirements.
This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization
a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and
b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
NOTE In this International Standard, the term ?product? applies only to the product intended for, or required by, a customer.
Luft- und Raumfahrt - Qualitätsmanagementsysteme - Anforderungen (basiert auf ISO 9001:2000) und Qualitätsmanagementsysteme - Qualitätssicherungsmodelle für Konstruktion, Entwicklung, Produktion, Montage und Wartung (basiert auf ISO 9001:1994)
Diese Norm enthält die auf die Modelle zum Qualitätsmanagementsystem nach ISO 9001:2000 und ISO 9001:1994 angewandten und in diese integrierten Anforderungen der Luft- und Raumfahrt. Welcher Hauptabschnitt dieser Norm anzuwenden ist, richtet sich nach dem derzeitigen Qualitätsmanagementsystemstatus der Organisation, was die Abgleichung/Überein-stimmung mit ISO 9001 anbelangt.
Organisationen, die derzeit ein Qualitätsmanagementsystem nach ISO 9001:1994 verwenden und den Anwendungsbereich ihres Qualitätsmanagementsystems durch Einbeziehung der Anforderungen von EN 9100 erweitern wollen, müssen den mit ISO 9001:1994 abgestimmten Hauptabschnitt dieser Norm verwenden. Nach Übergang auf ein Qualitätsmanagementsystem nach ISO 9001:2000 müssen die Organisationen den mit ISO 9001:2000 abgestimmten Hauptabschnitt der vorliegenden Norm verwenden. In Übereinstimmung mit der für den Übergang der Organisationen von ISO 9001:1994 zu ISO 9001:2000 festgelegten Frist, wird der Hauptabschnitt nach dem Modell von ISO 9001:1994 der vorliegenden Norm am 15. Dezember 2003 zurückgezogen.
Organisationen, die nach dem 15. Dezember 2000 zunächst ein Qualitätsmanagement nach ISO 9001/EN 9100 erstellen, müssen ein Qualitätsmanagementsystem nach ISO 9001:2000 erstellen und den Hauptabschnitt dieser Norm nach ISO 9001:2000 verwenden.
Das Modell nach ISO 9001 und der jeweilig verwendete Hauptabschnitt von EN 9100 sind im Qualitätsmanagement-Handbuch der Organisation anzugeben.
ANMERKUNG Diese Norm ist technisch gleichwertig mit SAE AS9100.

1.1 Généralités
La présente norme comporte les exigences en matiere de systeme de management de la qualité développées dans l'ISO 9001:2000 ) et spécifie des exigences supplémentaires en matiere de systeme de management de la qualité de l'industrie aérospatiale. Les exigences supplémentaires sont indiquées par du texte en gras et en italique.
Il faut signaler que les exigences en matiere de systeme de management de la qualité spécifiées dans la présente norme sont complémentaires aux exigences contractuelles, légales et réglementaires applicables, mais ne les remplacent pas.
La présente Norme internationale spécifie les exigences relatives au systeme de management de la qualité lorsqu'un organisme :
a) doit démontrer son aptitude a fournir régulierement un produit conforme aux exigences des clients et aux exigences réglementaires applicables ;
b) vise a accroître la satisfaction de ses clients par l'application efficace du systeme, y compris les processus pour l'amélioration continue du systeme et l'assurance de la conformité aux exigences des clients et aux exigences réglementaires applicables.
NOTE Dans la présente Norme internationale, le terme "produit" s'applique uniquement au produit destiné a, ou exigé par, un client.
1.2 Application
Toutes les exigences de la présente Norme internationale sont génériques et prévues pour s'appliquer a tout organisme, quels que soient son type, sa taille et le produit fourni.
Lorsque l'une ou plusieurs exigences de la présente Norme internationale ne peuvent etre appliquées en raison de la nature d'un organisme et de son produit, leur exclusion peut etre envisagée.
Lorsque des exclusions sont faites, les demandes de conformité a la présente Norme internationale ne sont acceptables que si ces exclusions se limitent aux exigences de l'Article 7 et qu'elles n'affectent pas l'aptitude de l'organisme a fournir un produit conforme aux exigences des clients et aux exigences réglementaires applicables, ni ne le dégagent de
