This International Standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon socket button head screws with collar with threads from M3 up to and including M16, with product grade A and with reduced loadability according to Table 3. If, in special cases, specifications other than those listed in this International Standard are required, they can be selected from existing International Standards, e.g. ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2 and ISO 4759-1.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Schrauben mit abgeflachtem Halbrundkopf mit Bund und Innensechskant sowie Gewinden von M3 bis einschließlich M16 in Produktklasse A sowie eingeschränkter Belastbarkeit nach Tabelle 3 fest.
Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in der vorliegenden Internationalen Norm benötigt, so können diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen entnommen, z. B. ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2 und ISO 4759-1.

This document (EN ISO 7380-2:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 “Fasteners” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by February 2012.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.
