This sheet of IEC 60454-3 contains the requirements for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, made with combined backings based on polyester film: - PET film/glass filament combination tapes; - Creped cellulosic paper/PET film combination tapes; - PET film/polyester non-woven combination tapes; - PET film/epoxy combination tapes. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application, and not based on this specification alone.

La CEI 60454-3-11:2007 contient les exigences relatives aux rubans adhésifs sensibles à la pression, composés d'endos combinés reposant sur un film polyester:
- Rubans de combinaison de film polyéthylène-téréphtalate (PET)/filament de verre;
- Rubans de combinaison de papier cellulosique crêpé/film polyéthylène-téréphtalate (PET);
- Rubans de combinaison de film polyéthylène-téréphtalate (PET)/polyester non tissé polyester;
- Rubans de combinaison de film polyéthylène-téréphtalate (PET)/époxy.
Cette deuxième édition de la CEI 60454-3-11 remplace la première édition, publiée en 1998, ainsi que la CEI 60454-3-15 (2001), la CEI 60454-3-16 (2003) et la CEI 60454-3-17 (2001). Cette nouvelle édition constitue une révision technique.La CEI 60454-3-15, la CEI 60454-3-16 et la CEI 60454-3-17 doivent être supprimées au moment de cette publication. Les principales modifications par rapport à l'édition précédente sont la consolidation des Parties 3-11, 3-15, 3-16 et 3-17.

Foreword The text of document 15/374/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 60454-3-11, prepared by IEC TC 15, Solid electrical insulating materials, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60454-3-11 on 2007-06-01. This European Standard supersedes EN 60454-3-11:1998, EN 60454-3-15:2001, EN 60454-3-16:2003 and EN 60454-3-17:2001. The main changes with regard to EN 60454-3-11:1998 is the consolidation of Parts 3-11, 3-15, 3-16 and 3-17. The following dates were fixed: – latest date by which the EN has to be implemented

FOREWORD 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields.
