Non-destructive testing - Radioscopic testing - Part 1: Quantitative measurement of imaging properties

The procedures given in this standard can be applied to all radioscopic systems which provide an electronic signal to a display unit or an automated image interpretation system. The radioscopic system is analysed for the response to well defined test specimen. The measurement should be performed by a sufficiently equipped and experienced laboratory. From the results, the specifications of the imaging system regarding image properties can be derived. This standard so far does not include imaging properties under moving conditions.

Die Verfahren, die in dieser Norm beschrieben werden, können auf alle radioskopischen Systeme angewendet werden, die ein elektronisches Signal an einen Bildschirm oder an ein automatisches Bildauswertesystem übertragen. Die Antwort des radioskopischen Systems auf genau definierte Prüfkörper wird gemessen. Die Messung sollte von einem ausreichend ausgestatteten Labor ausgeführt werden. Von den Ergebnissen können Spezifikationen der bildgebenden Systeme bezüglich ihrer Bildeigenschaften abgeleitet werden. DieseNorm behandelt nicht die bildgebenden Eigenschaften bei Prüfung in Bewegung.

Les modes opératoires donnés dans cette norme peuvent etre appliqués a tous les systemes radioscopiques émettant un signal électronique en direction d'un dispositif de visualisation ou d'un systeme automatique d'interprétation de l'image. La réponse du systeme radioscopique a des test spécifiques bien définis est analysée. Il convient que les mesures soient effectués par un laboratoire disposant d'un matériel suffisant. On peut déduire des résultats obtenus les spécifications du dispositif d'imagerie en ce qui concerne les caractéristiques de l'image.L
