Welding - Acceptance inspection of electron beam welding machines - Part 4: Measurement of welding speed (ISO 14744-4:2000)

This standard is intended for use when the welding speed for elctron beam welding machines complying with prEN ISO 14744-1 is to be measured in connection with an acceptance inspection. It provides essential information on the procedure and apparatus to be used for making the measurements. Alternative standardised procedures can be used, provided they have at least the same acceptance inspection as the welds specified in this part 4. The measured parameter is the speed of the translational and rotational movements required to perform the welding operation.

Diese Norm ist für das Messen der Schweißgeschwindigkeit bei Abnahmeprüfungen von Elektronenstrahl-Schweißmaschinen nach prEN ISO 14744-1 anzuwenden. Sie enthält wesentliche Informationen zum Verfahren und zu Geräten für die Durchführung der Messungen. Andere genormte Verfahren können verwendet werden, sofern sie zur Abnahmeprüfung gemäß diesem Teil 4 geeignet sind. Die zu messende Schweißgeschwindigkeit bezieht sich auf Translations- und Rotationsbewegungen, die zur Ausführung des Schweißvorganges erforderlich sind.

La présente norme européenne a pour but d'etre utilisée lorsque la vitesse de soudage par faisceau d'électrons en conformité avec le prEN ISO 14744-1 doit etre mesurée dans le cadre d'essais de réception. Elle fournit des informations essentielles sur le mode opréatoire et les appareillages a utiliser pour réaliser de telles mesures. D'autres modes opératoires normalisés peuvent etre utilisés, dans la mesure ou ils satisfont au meme essai de réception que les soudures spécifiées dans cette partie 4. Le parametre mesuré est la vitesse de translation et de rotation prescrite pour effectuer l'opération de soudage.
