Polypropylene twines

This European standard specifies requirements for twines made from polypropylene. It specifies the methods for their manufacture, their physical characteristics, as well as describing test methods to verify these characteristics. This standard allows ultra violet high inhibitors to be added but does not require them to be added. Requirements for the commercial presentation of twines are also specified. This standard does not specify requirements for agricultural twines made of polyolefin, which are covered according to EN 906:1996.

Diese Europa(ische Norm legt Anforderungen an Polypropylen-Bindegarne fest. Sie legt die Verfahren der Herstellung, ihre physikalischen Eigenschaften sowie die Pru(fverfahren und Verfahren zur Anpassung dieser Eigenschaften fest. Diese Norm erlaubt den Zusatz von UV-Inhibitoren, verlangt aber des Zusatz nicht. Die Anforderungen fu(r die handelsu(bliche Aufmachung der Bindegarne wird ebenfalls festgelegt. Diese Norm legt nicht die Anforderungen an Polyolefin-Erntegarne fest, die nach EN 906:1996 festgelegt sind.

Ficelles polypropylene

La présente norme européenne fixe les exigences des ficelles en polypropylène. Elle précise les méthodes de fabrication, leurs caractéristiques physiques et $ définit les méthodes d'essai pour les vérifier. Cette norme prévoit que puissent être ajoutés des inhibiteurs ultra-violet mais ne les exige pas. Elle précise également la désignation commerciale des ficelles. La présente norme européenne ne fixe pas les exigences des ficelles agricoles en polyoléfine qui sont spécifiées selon l'EN 906:1996.
