Dentistry - Designation system for dental implants (ISO 19429:2015)

This International Standard provides a system for designating the location of an implant body within a jaw, and is intended for use with the scheme described in ISO 3950, Dentistry — Designation system for teeth and areas of the oral cavity. It does not in itself indicate whether the device is visible within the oral cavity or the presence of transmucosal components or implant restorations. Since the system describes location but not restoration form, it is not necessary to use the quadrant designation numbers 5-8 which are employed when indicating a primary tooth.
This information should be recorded by the responsible clinician in the patient’s file and made available to the patient by the clinician(s) who provided the care.

Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt ein System, das die Position des Implanatkörpers im Kiefer bezeichnet und das zur Anwendung mit dem in ISO 3950 beschriebenen Schema vorgesehen ist. Es zeigt nicht selbst an, ob das Produkt in der Mundhöhle sichtbar ist oder das Vorhandensein transmukosaler Bestandteile oder Implantatrestaurationen. Weil das System Positionen beschreibt, jedoch keine Restaurationsformen, ist es nicht notwendig die Quadranten Bezeichnungsnummern 5 bis 8, die angewandt werden, um einen Milchzahn anzugeben, zu verwenden.
Diese Angaben sollten vom zuständigen Kliniker in der Patientenakte aufgezeichnet werden und vom/von den Kliniker(n) der die Behandlung durchführt dem Patienten zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Ta mednarodni standard določa sistem za ugotavljanje mesta vsadka v čeljusti in je namenjen za uporabo s shemo, opisano v standardu ISO 3950, Zobozdravstvo - Sistem označb za zobe in območja ustne votline. Sam po sebi ne pomeni vidnosti pripomočka v ustni votlini ali prisotnosti transmukoznih sestavnih delov ali rekonstrukcije vsadkov. Ker sistem opisuje mesto in ne obliko rekonstrukcije, uporaba oznak kvadrantov 5–8, ki se uporabljajo za označitev primarnega zobovja, ni potrebna. Te podatke naj bi beležil pristojni zdravnik v bolnikovi kartoteki in zdravnik, ki izvaja zdravljenje, naj bi bolniku omogočil dostop do njih.

The text of ISO 19429:2015 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 106 “Dentistry” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 19429:2016 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 55 “Dentistry” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2016, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2016.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
