This European Standard is one of a series of standards applicable to flexible sheets for waterproofing of concrete bridge decks and other concrete surfaces trafficable by vehicles.
This European Standard specifies a test method for the evaluation of the tensile bond strength properties of the waterproofing sheet system applied to a concrete surface and with an asphalt layer.

EN 13596:2004 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 13596:2004) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN /TC 254 "Flexible sheets for waterproofing", the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2005, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2006.
