Furniture - Chairs and tables for educational institutions - Part 2: Safety requirements and test methods

This document specifies safety requirements and test methods for chairs and tables for general educational purposes in educational institutions including kindergarten, childcare institutions and early years education settings.
It applies to furniture for use with laptop computers or portable devices, but not to special purpose workstations, e.g. laboratories, ranked seating and workshops.
The chairs fulfilling the applicable requirements of this document are suitable for users weighing up to 110 kg.
The figures illustrate test principles only and cannot be used to carry out the tests.
NOTE   EN 1729-1 specifies functional dimensions and marking of chairs and tables for general educational purposes.
Annex A (informative) Test method for determination of the displacement of chairs placed on tabletops.

Möbel - Stühle und Tische für Bildungseinrichtungen - Teil 2: Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Dieses Dokument legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Stühle und Tische für die allgemeine Verwendung während der Bildung in Bildungseinrichtungen, einschließlich Kindergärten, Kinderpflegeeinrichtungen und Einrichtungen zur frühkindlichen Erziehung, fest.
Sie gilt für den Gebrauch von Möbeln mit Laptops und tragbaren Geräten, jedoch nicht für Sonder-arbeitsplätze, z. B. Labore, Reihengestühl und Werkstätten.
Stühle, die die geltenden Anforderungen nach diesem Dokument erfüllen, sind für Nutzer mit einem Körpergewicht bis zu 110 kg geeignet.
Die Bilder zeigen nur die Prüfgrundsätze und können nicht zur Durchführung der Prüfungen angewendet werden.

Anhang A (informativ) Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Lagebeständigkeit von Stühlen, wenn diese auf Tischplatten stehen.

Meubles - Chaises et tables pour les établissements d'enseignement - Partie 2 : Exigences de sécurité et méthodes d'essai

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité et les méthodes d’essai des chaises et tables pour l’éducation générale dans les établissements d’enseignement incluant les jardins d'enfants ainsi que les établissements de puériculture et d'éducation préscolaire.
Il s'applique aux mobiliers destinés à être utilisés avec des ordinateurs portables ou des dispositifs portables, mais non pour un usage spécial comme les postes de travail, par exemple, les laboratoires, les sièges en rangées et les ateliers.
Les chaises qui satisfont aux exigences applicables du présent document conviennent aux utilisateurs qui pèsent jusqu'à 110 kg.
Les figures illustrent uniquement les principes des essais et ne peuvent être utilisés pour leur exécution.
NOTE   L'EN 1729-1 spécifie les dimensions fonctionnelles et le marquage des chaises et tables destinées à l'éducation générale.

Ta dokument določa varnostne zahteve in preskusne metode za stole in mize za namene splošnega izobraževanja v vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanovah, vključno z vrtci, ustanovami za varstvo otrok in predšolsko vzgojo.
Velja za pohištvo za uporabo prenosnih računalnikov in drugih prenosnih naprav, vendar ne za delovne postaje za posebne namene, kot so laboratoriji, vrstni sedeži in delavnice.
Stoli, ki izpolnjujejo veljavne zahteve iz tega dokumenta, so primerni za uporabnike s telesno maso do 110 kg.
Slike predstavljajo samo načela preskusov in jih ni mogoče uporabiti za izvajanje preskusov.
