Scope
1. These specifications cover sodium silicate to be applied to the
surface of concrete for the purpose of preventing moisture loss during
curing. ·
Properties and Tes~
2. The sodium silicate shall have a. density of not less than
~2.25° Baum.6 at 60 F. (15.5 C.).
3. The ratio of sodium oxide, NasO, to silica, SiOs, shAll be 1 NaaO
to not less than ·3.2 SiO~.
