This document specifies the safety, design, construction, performance requirements and testing of Temperature Control Functions (TCF) and Combustion Product Discharge Safety Devices (TTB) for gas and liquid fuel burners and appliances burning one or more gaseous or liquid fuels, hereafter referred to as ‘TCF’ or ‘TTB’.
It also describes the test procedures for checking compliance with these requirements.
This document is applicable to AC and DC supplied TCF and TTB (for TCF and TTB supplied by stand-alone battery system, battery systems for mobile applications or systems which are intended to be connected to DC supply networks, see Annex I).
This document is applicable to electronically based TTB and TCF only.
For both TTB and TCF, the requirements in this document are applicable to the combination of sensing element and control.

Dieses Dokument legt Sicherheits-, Ausführungs-, Konstruktions- und Leistungsanforderungen und die Prüfung der Temperaturüberwachungsfunktionen (TCF) und Sicherheitseinrichtungen für die Abführung der Abgase (TTB) für Brenner und Brennstoffgeräte für gasförmige und flüssige Brennstoffe fest, die einen oder mehrere gasförmige oder flüssige Brennstoffe verbrennen, nachfolgend bezeichnet als „TCF“ oder „TTB“.
Außerdem werden die Prüfverfahren für die Überprüfung der Übereinstimmung mit diesen Anforderungen beschrieben.
Dieses Dokument ist auf TCF und TTB anwendbar, die mit Wechsel- und Gleichspannung betrieben werden (für TCF und TTB, die mit unabhängigen Batteriesystemen, Batteriesystemen für die mobile Anwendung oder Systemen für den Anschluss an Gleichspannungsnetze betrieben werden, siehe Anhang I).
Dieses Dokument ist nur auf elektronisch betriebene TTB und TCF anwendbar.
Für beide, TTB und TCF, sind die Anforderungen nach diesem Dokument für die Kombination von Messfühler und Regel- und Steuergerät anwendbar.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité, de conception, de construction, de fonctionnement et d’essais applicables aux dispositifs de régulation de la température (TCF) et aux dispositifs de contrôle de l'évacuation des produits de combustion (TTB) destinés à être utilisés sur des brûleurs et dans des appareils utilisant des combustibles gazeux ou liquides désignés dans le document par ‘TCF’ et ‘TTB’.
Il décrit également les procédures d'essai ayant pour objet de vérifier la conformité avec ces exigences.
Ce document est applicable aux dispositifs TCF et TTB alimentés en courant alternatif et en courant continu (pour les dispositifs TCF et TTB alimentés par des systèmes de batterie autonomes, des systèmes de batterie pour applications mobiles ou des systèmes destinés à être connectés à des réseaux d’alimentation en courant continu, voir l'Annexe I).
Ce document s’applique uniquement aux dispositifs TCF et TTB électroniques.
Dans les deux cas, TTB et TCF, les exigences de ce document sont applicables à l’ensemble capteur / commande.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za varnost, zasnovo in konstrukcijo za krmiljenje temperature (TCF) in varnostno napravo za odvajanje izgorevanja izdelkov (TTB), namenjeno uporabi z gorilniki in aparati na plin ali tekoča goriva.
Določa tudi preskusne postopke za ugotavljanje skladnosti s temi zahtevami.
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za sisteme krmiljenja temperature, ki se napajajo z izmeničnim ali enosmernim tokom (za sisteme krmiljenja temperature, ki se napajajo s samostojnim akumulatorskim sistemom, akumulatorskimi sistemi za premične aplikacije ali s sistemi, ki so namenjeni za priključitev na omrežja z enosmernim tokom, glej dodatek I).
Ta evropski standard se uporablja samo za elektronske sisteme TTB in TCF.
