This document specifies a method using dimethylacetamide to determine the mass percentage of elastane, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of mixtures of:
— certain elastane fibres
with
— cotton, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, polyamide, polyester or wool fibres.
This method is not applicable when acrylic fibres are present.
It is also possible to analyse mixtures containing certain elastane fibres by using the test methods described in ISO 1833-12 or ISO 1833-21.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Massen¬anteils an Elastan, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Bestandteile, in Textilien aus Mischungen
— bestimmter Elastanfasern
mit
— Baumwoll , Viskose , Cupro , Modal , Lyocell-, Polyamid , Polyester oder Wollfasern
unter Verwendung von Dimethylacetamid fest.
Dieses Verfahren ist nicht anwendbar, wenn Polyacrylfasern vorhanden sind.
Es ist auch möglich, Mischungen, die bestimmte Elastanfasern enthalten, mit den in ISO 1833-12 oder ISO 1833-21 beschriebenen Prüfverfahren zu analysieren.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination, au diméthylacétamide, de la masse exprimée en pourcentage d'élasthanne, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges de:
— certaines fibres d'élasthanne;
avec
— coton, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, polyamide, polyester ou fibres de laine.
Cette méthode n'est pas applicable lorsque des fibres d'acrylique sont présentes.
Il est également possible d'analyser des mélanges contenant certaines fibres d'élasthanne en utilisant les méthodes d'essai décrites dans l'ISO 1833‑12 ou l'ISO 1833‑21.

Ta dokument določa metodo z uporabo dietilacetamida za ugotavljanje masnega odstotka elastana po odstranitvi nevlakenske snovi v tekstilijah iz mešanic:
– določenih elastanovih vlaken s/z
– bombažem, viskozo, bakrenimi vlakni, modalnimi vlakni, liocelom, poliamidom, poliestrom ali volnenimi vlakni.
Ta metoda se ne uporablja, kadar so prisotna akrilna vlakna.
Mešanice, ki vsebujejo določena elastanova vlakna, je mogoče analizirati tudi s preskusnimi metodami, opisanimi v standardu ISO 1833-12 ali ISO 1833-21.

This document (EN ISO 1833-20:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38
"Textiles" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the
secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2019, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
