This document specifies a method, using acetone, to determine the mass percentage of acetate, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of mixtures of
— acetate
with
— wool, animal hair, silk, protein, cotton (scoured, kiered, or bleached), flax (or linen), hemp, jute, abaca, alfa, coir, broom, ramie, sisal, cupro, viscose, modal, polyamide, polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, elastolefin, elastomultiester, melamine, polypropylene/polyamide bicomponent, polyacrylate and glass fibres.
It is not applicable to mixtures containing modacrylic fibres, certain chlorofibres, nor to mixtures containing acetate fibres that have been deacetylated on the surface.

Acetat
mit
Wolle, Tierhaar, Seide, Proteinfaser, Baumwolle (entschlichtet, gebeucht oder gebleicht), Flachs (oder Leinen), Hanf, Jute, Abaka, Alfa, Kokosfaser, Ginster, Ramie, Sisal, Cupro, Viskose, Modal, Polyamid, Polyester, Polypropylen, Polyacryl, Elastolefin, Elastomultiester, Melamin, Polypropylen/Polyamid-Bikomponente, Polyacrylat und Glasfasern fest.
Das Verfahren ist weder anzuwenden für Mischungen, die Modacrylfasern oder Polychloridfasern enthalten, noch für Mischungen, die Acetatfasern enthalten, die auf der Oberfläche entacetyliert wurden.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination, à l'acétone, de la masse exprimée en pourcentage d'acétate, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges de :
— acétate ;
avec
— laine, poils animaux, soie, protéines, coton (lavé, débouilli ou blanchi), lin, chanvre, jute, abaca, alfa, coco, genêt, ramie, sisal, cupro, viscose, modal, polyamide, polyester, polypropylène, acrylique, élastoléfine, élastomultiester, mélamine, bicomposant polypropylène/polyamide, polyacrylate et fibres de verre.
Il ne s'applique pas aux mélanges contenant des fibres modacryliques ou certaines chlorofibres, ni aux mélanges contenant des fibres d'acétate ayant été désacétylées en surface.

This document (EN ISO 1833-3:2020) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 "Textiles"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of
which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2021, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by June 2021.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 1833-3:2019.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the

Dieser Europäische Norm-Entwurf wird den CEN-Mitgliedern zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt. Er wurde vom Technischen
Komitee CEN/TC 248 erstellt.
