This part of EN 13476, together with EN 13476-1, specifies the definitions and requirements for pipes, fittings and the system based on unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) structured-wall piping systems that are intended to be used for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage systems.
This part is applicable to pipes and fittings with smooth internal and profiled external surfaces, designated as Type B.
It specifies test methods and test parameters as well as requirements.
This part is applicable to:
a) structured-wall pipes and fittings, which are intended to be used buried underground outside the building structure, reflected in the marking of products by "U";
b) structured-wall pipes and fittings, which are intended to be used buried underground both outside (application area code "U") and within the building structure (application area code "D"), reflected in the marking of products by "UD".
This part is applicable to structured-wall pipes and fittings with or without an integral socket with elastomeric ring seal joints as well as welded and fused joints.
This part covers a range of pipe and fitting sizes, materials, pipe constructions, stiffness classes, application classes, and tolerance classes and gives recommendations concerning colours.
NOTE 1 It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selections from these aspects, taking into account their particular requirements and any relevant national regulations and installation practices or codes.
NOTE 2 For dimensions larger than DN 1200 OD/ID this document may be applied regarding appearance, colour, physical and mechanical characteristics as well as performance requirements.

Dieser Teil von EN 13476 legt gemeinsam mit EN 13476-1 die Definitionen und Anforderungen für Rohre,
Formstücke und das Rohrleitungssystem aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U), Polypropylen
(PP) und Polyethylen (PE) mit profilierter Wandung fest, die für erdverlegte, drucklos betriebene
Abwasserkanäle und –leitungen verwendet werden.
Dieser Teil gilt für Rohre und Formstücke mit glatten Innen- und profilierten Außenflächen, bezeichnet als
Typ B.
Es werden sowohl Prüfverfahren und Prüfparameter als auch Anforderungen festgelegt.
Dieser Teil gilt für:
a) Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung, die ausschließlich für erdverlegte Anwendungen
außerhalb einer Gebäudestruktur vorgesehen sind; gekennzeichnet mit Anwendungskennzeichen „U“.
b) Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung, die sowohl für erdverlegte Anwendungen außerhalb der
Gebäudestruktur (Anwendungskennzeichen „U“) als auch innerhalb einer Gebäudestruktur
(Anwendungskennzeichen „D“) vorgesehen sind; gekennzeichnet mit Anwendungskennzeichen „UD“.
Dieser Teil gilt für Rohre und Formstücke mit profilierter Wandung sowohl mit glatten Enden als auch mit
angeformter Muffe, die mittels elastomerer Dichtringverbindungen bzw. durch Heizelement-Stumpf-,
Extrusions- oder Heizwendelschweißen miteinander verbunden sind.
Diese Norm enthält Festlegungen für Maße von Rohren und Formstücken, für Werkstoffe,
Rohrkonstruktionen, für Steifigkeitsklassen, Anwendungs- und Toleranzklassen und gibt Empfehlungen für die
Einfärbung.
ANMERKUNG 1 Der Anwender bzw. Auftraggeber ist unter Berücksichtigung der eigenen Anforderungen sowie der
geltenden nationalen Festlegungen und Verlegepraktiken oder -vorschriften für die entsprechende Auswahl dieser
Kriterien verantwortlich.
ANMERKUNG 2 Für Durchmesser größer DN 1 200 OD/ID kann dieses Dokument für Beschaffenheit, Farbe,
physikalische und mechanische Eigenschaften sowie Anforderungen an die Gebrauchstauglichkeit angewendet werden.

La présente partie de l’EN 13476, conjointement avec l’EN 13476-1, spécifie les définitions et les exigences pour les
tubes, les raccords et le système de canalisations fabriqués à partir de poly(chlorure de vinyle) non plastifié (PVC-U),
polypropylène (PP) et polyéthylène (PE), destinés à être utilisés en tant que systèmes de canalisations à parois
structurées dans le domaine des branchements et des collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés sans pression.
La présente partie s'applique aux tubes et raccords avec une surface interne lisse et une surface externe profilée,
désignés de Type B.
Elle spécifie les méthodes d'essai et les paramètres d'essai ainsi que les exigences.
La présente partie s'applique aux :
a) tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés à l'extérieur du bâtiment ; ce qui est reflété
par le marquage des produits par «U» ;
b) tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés, aussi bien à l'extérieur (code de la zone
d’application «U») de la structure des bâtiments, qu’à l'intérieur (code de la zone d’application «D») ; ce qui est
reflété par le marquage des produits par «UD».
La présente partie s'applique aux tubes et raccords à parois structurées qui comprennent des assemblages à bague
d'étanchéité en élastomère avec ou sans emboîture intégrée ainsi que des assemblages soudés et les assemblages
obtenus par fusion.
La présente partie couvre une gamme de dimensions de tubes et de raccords, de matières, de constructions de tube,
de classes de rigidité, de classes d'application et de classes de tolérance et donne des recommandations concernant
les couleurs.
