This European Standard specifies terms and definitions to be used for pressure equipment and assemblies within the scope of European Directives on pressure equipment.
It may be applied to other pressure equipment.

This document (EN 764-1:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 54 “Unfired pressure
vessels”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
