Wastewater treatment plants - Part 12: Control and automation
This European Standard specifies requirements for control and automation systems on wastewater treatment plants for more than 50 PT. If necessary, the control system should also be designed to cover the con-trol of sewer systems in the receiving area of the wastewater treatment plant.
It describes the necessary information and data which are needed for the design and implementation of such systems as well as the performance requirements with respect to the hard- and software.
Differences in wastewater treatment throughout Europe have led to a variety of systems being developed. This standard gives fundamental information about the systems; this standard has not attempted to specify all available systems.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Steuerungs- und Automatisierungssysteme von Kläranlagen für mehr als 50 EW fest. Falls notwendig, sollte die Leittechnik auch so ausgelegt werden, dass die Überwachung des Kanalnetzes im Einzugsbereich der Kläranlage möglich ist.
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Anforderungen an die Informationen, die zur Auslegung und die Implementierung solcher Systeme notwendig sind sowie Leistungsanforderungen an die Hard- und Software.
Die Unterschiede in Planung und Bau von Kläranlagen in Europa haben zu einer Vielzahl von Ausführungsformen geführt. Diese Norm enthält grundsätzliche Angaben zu den Ausführungsformen; sie beschreibt jedoch nicht alle Einzelheiten jeder Ausführungsform.
Die in den Literaturhinweisen aufgeführten Unterlagen enthalten Einzelheiten und Hinweise, die im Rahmen dieser Norm verwendet werden können.
Stations d'épuration - Partie 12: Régulation et automatisation
La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les exigences concernant les systèmes de régulation et d'automatisation mis en �uvre dans les stations d'épuration de plus de 50 PTE. Si nécessaire, il est recommandé que le système de régulation soit également conçu pour assurer la régulation du réseau d'égouts au niveau de la zone de réception de la station d'épuration.
Elle spécifie les informations et les données nécessaires à la conception et à la mise en �uvre de ces systèmes, ainsi que les performances requises des parties matérielle et logicielle.
Les différences existant en Europe en matière de traitement des eaux usées ont conduit au développement d'une grande variété de systèmes. La présente norme donne des informations de base concernant ces systèmes.
La présente Norme ne couvre pas tous les systèmes disponibles.
Il est possible d'obtenir des informations détaillées en plus de celles données dans la présente norme en se référant à la bibliographie indiquée en annexe.
