CEN/TC 124.
This draft amendment A3, if approved, will modify the European Standard EN 1912:2004+A2:2008. If this draft becomes an amendment,
CEN members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for inclusion of this
amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration.
This draft amendment was established by CEN in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made
by translation under the responsibility of a CEN member into its own language and notified to the CEN Management Centre has the same
status as the official versions.

This document (EN 1912:2004/prA3:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 124 “Timber
structures”, the secretariat of which is held by SFS.
This document is currently submitted to the Unique Acceptance Procedure.
1 Modifications to Table 1
Replace existing Table 1 with the attached Table 1.
Netherlands grade C has been deleted from C16.
Grade S7 of German and Austrian Norway spruce and Scots pine deleted from C16 and added to C18.
Grade LS13 of German Poplar has been added to C27.
Grade LS10 & better of German Poplar has been added to C22.

Grade TH1 of American white oak has been added to D50.
Grade TH1 of American red oak has been added to D40.
