Information technology - Notification of RFID - The information sign to be displayed in areas where RFID interrogators are deployed

This Technical Specification defines:
—   the details of data and graphics that shall be included on the signage;
—   the presentational requirements for the signage, taking account of the need:
—   to provide a practical solution given constraints on print technique and print area;
—   for a consistent common and recognizable signage;
—   means to support accessibility;
—   the structure and content of an information policy to meet the informational needs of individuals with respect to RFID privacy.

Diese vorliegende Technische Spezifikation legt Folgendes fest:
 Details zu den Daten und graphischen Darstellungen, die Bestandteil des Informationszeichens sein müssen;
 Anforderungen an die Präsentation des Informationszeichens unter Berücksichtigung der Erfordernis,
 eine praktische Lösung mit Vorgaben für das Druckverfahren und den Druckbereich bereitzustellen;
 ein einheitliches, allgemeines und wiedererkennbares Informationszeichen bereitzustellen.
 Methoden zur Unterstützung der Zugänglichkeit;
 die Struktur und den Inhalt einer Informationsleitlinie, die dem Informationsbedarf von Personen hinsicht-lich des Schutzes der Privatsphäre bei RFID gerecht wird.

Tehnična specifikacija CEN/TS 16685 določa: - podrobnosti podatkov in grafik, ki bodo vključeni na znake; - predstavnostne zahteve za znake, pri čemer se upošteva potrebo po: - zagotavljanju praktičnih rešitev glede na omejitve tehnike tiskanja in površine, namenjene tiskanju; - doslednih skupnih in prepoznavnih znakih; - sredstvih za podporo dostopnosti; - oblikovanju in vsebini informacijske politike, ki bo izpolnjevala posameznikove potrebe po informacijah z upoštevanjem politike RFID.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 8 March 2014 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.

CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
