Packaging - Plastic freezer bags - Specifications and test methods

This European Standard specifies the dimensional characteristics, mechanical requirements and requirements of fitness for purpose of plastics freezer bags used for freezing foodstuffs.
It specifies also test methods to check these requirements.
It is applicable to plastic bags reserved for household uses to freeze foodstuffs, including the following types:
   bags with tie closure, without gusset;
   bags with tie closure and lateral gussets;
   bags with re-closable features (or with zipper) without gusset.
NOTE 1   The above list of types of bags is neither restrictive nor exhaustive.
NOTE 2   The application of this European Standard does not exempt the supplier or purchaser from complying with national regulations.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Maßkenngrößen, mechanische Anforderungen und Anforderungen an die
Gebrauchsfähigkeit von Gefrierbeuteln aus Kunststoff fest, die zum Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln benutzt
werden.
Es legt ebenso Prüfverfahren zur Überprüfung dieser Anforderungen fest.
Es ist anwendbar auf Beutel aus Kunststoff, die für den Gebrauch im Haushalt zum Einfrieren von
Lebensmitteln vorgesehen sind, einschließlich der folgenden Arten:
.Beutel mit einem Band als Verschluss, ohne Einfaltungen;
.Beutel mit einem Band als Verschluss und seitlichen Einfaltungen;
.Beutel mit wiederverschließbaren Vorrichtungen (oder mit Reißverschluss) ohne Einfaltungen.
ANMERKUNG 1 Die obige Liste der Beutelarten ist weder einschränkend noch erschöpfend.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Anwendung dieser Europäischen Norm befreit den Lieferanten oder Käufer nicht von der
Einhaltung nationaler Bestimmungen.

La présente Norme européenne a pour objet de fixer les caractéristiques dimensionnelles, les exigences
mécaniques et les exigences d�aptitude à l�emploi des sacs plastiques utilisés pour la congélation de denrées
alimentaires.
Elle spécifie également les méthodes d�essai permettant de vérifier ces exigences.
La présente Norme européenne est applicable aux sacs en matière plastique, réservés aux usages ménagers
des types suivants :
¾ sacs à lien sans soufflet ;
¾ sacs à lien avec soufflets latéraux ;
¾ sacs à fermeture incorporée («zip») sans soufflet.
NOTE 1 La liste ci-dessus des types de sacs n�est ni limitative, ni exhaustive.
