This document specifies a method, using an absorbent medium, for determining the resistance of an individual-layer or multi-layer system of coating materials to the effects of liquids or paste-like products.
This method enables the tester to determine the effects of the test substance on the coating and, if necessary, to assess the damage to the substrate.

Dieses Verfahren ermöglicht dem Prüfer, die Wirkung der Prüfsubstanz auf die Beschichtung und, falls not¬wendig, die Schädigung des Substrates zu beurteilen.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode utilisant un milieu absorbant pour déterminer la résistance d'un système de revêtement monocouche ou multicouche à l'action de liquides ou de produits pâteux.
Cette méthode permet aux opérateurs d'évaluer les effets de la substance d'essai sur le revêtement et, si nécessaire, d'évaluer la détérioration du subjectile.

This document (EN ISO 2812-3:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints
and varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2019, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2019.

— in Annex A, the CAS numbers have been added to the reagents listed.

1 Scope
This document specifies a method, using an absorbent medium, for determining the resistance of
