Destructive tests on welds in metallic materials - Impact tests - Test specimen location, notch orientation and examination

This standard specifies mainly the method to be used when describing test specimen location and notch orientation for the testing and reporting of impact tests on welded butt joints.  This standard applies to impact tests on metallic materials in all forms of a product made by any fusion welding process.  It is used in addition to EN 10045-1 and includes test specimen denomination and additional reporting requirements.

Diese Norm legt vorwiegend die Anwendung der Verfahren für den Kerbschlagbiegeversuch an Stumpfschweißverbindungen fest, die zur Beschreibung der Probenlage und der Kerbrichtung zu verwenden sind. Diese Norm gilt für Kerbschlagbiegeversuche an metallischen Werkstoffen jeder Herstellungsart unter Verwendung irgendeines Schweißprozesses. Sie ist in Ergänzung zur EN 10045-1 anzuwenden und enthält die Probenbezeichnung sowie die zusätzlichen Anforderungen an die Berichterstattung.

La présente norme européenne spécifie principalement la méthode à utiliser pour décrire la position de l'éprouvette et l'orientation de l'entaille pour les essais de flexion par choc dans les assemblages soudés bout à bout et l'établissement des rapports d'essais correspondants. La présente norme européenne s'applique aux essais de flexion par choc des assemblages soudés sur matériaux métalliques sous toutes formes de livraison, réalisés par tout procédé de soudage par fusion.
