Feather and down - Specification for feather and down filled bedding articles

This standard applies to new bedding articles, e.g. quilts, of all kinds and sizes, which are solely filled with feathers and/or down.
This standard does not apply to:
¾    sleeping bags;
¾    clothing;
¾    furniture, cushions.
It lays down definitions (see also EN 1885), tolerances for sizes, materials, performance requirements, sampling, reference to test methods, marking and labelling.

Dieses Dokument gilt für neue Bettwaren, z. B. Zudecken aller Art und Größe, die nur mit Federn und/oder
Daunen gefüllt sind.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
Schlafsäcke;
Bekleidung;
Polstermöbel, Polsterkissen.
Sie legt Definitionen (siehe auch EN 1885), Grenzabmaße für Größen, Materialien, Gebrauchsanforderungen,
Probenahme, Verweisungen auf Prüfverfahren, Kennzeichnung und Etikettierung fest.

Plumes et duvets - Spécifications pour les articles de literie garnis des plumes et duvets

Cette norme s'applique à tous les articles de literie à l'état neuf, comme les couettes, de tous types et toutes dimensions, qui sont garnis uniquement de plumes et/ou de duvet. Cette norme ne s'applique pas: - aux sacs de couchage; - aux vêtements; - aux coussins, aux meubles. Elle fixe des définitions (voir également EN 1885) des tolérances pour les dimensions, les garnissages, les exigences de performances, d'échantillonnage, des références à des méthodes d'essais, des marquages de l'étiquetage. Note: L'attention est attirée sur les directives EC 96/74 et EC 97/37.
