Inflatable boats - Part 2: Boats with a maximum motor power rating of 4,5 kW to 15 kW inclusive (ISO 6185-2:2001)

This part of ISO 6185 specifies the minimum safety characteristics required for the design, materials to use,
manufacture and testing of inflatable boats (including rigid inflatable boats) less than 8 m in overall length with a
minimum buoyancy of 1 800 N.
This part of ISO 6185 is applicable to the following types of inflatable boats, intended for use within the operating
temperatures of – 15
C to  60
C:

Type V: Inflatable boats capable of taking a motor power rating of 4,5 kW to 15 kW inclusive;

Type VI: Inflatable craft propelled by sail with a sail area greater than 6 m2 (see normative annex A).
NOTE For boats with power ratings of 4,5 kW and less, refer ISO 6185-1, and for boats with power ratings of 15 kW and
greater, refer to ISO 6185-3.
This part of ISO 6185 excludes single-chambered boats and boats made from unsupported materials of more than
12 kN buoyancy and powered by motors exceeding 4,5 kW, and is not applicable to aquatic toys and inflatable
liferafts.

La présente partie de l'ISO 6185 spécifie les caractéristiques minimales de sécurité relatives à la conception, aux matériaux utilisés, à la fabrication et aux essais des bateaux pneumatiques (y compris les bateaux pneumatiques rigides) d'une longueur totale inférieure à 8 m et présentant une flottabilité d'au moins 1800 N.  La présente partie de l'ISO 6185 s'applique aux types suivants de bateaux pneumatiques destinés à être utilisés dans une plage de températures de service comprises entre - 15 °C et + 60 °C:  - type V: bateaux pneumatiques pouvant être équipés d'un moteur d'une puissance comprise entre 4,5 kW et 15 kW inclus;  - type VI: bateaux pneumatiques à voile dont la surface de voilure dépasse 6 m2 (voir l'annexe normative A).  
NOTE Pour les bateaux de puissance nominale inférieure ou égale à 4,5 kW, se référer à l'ISO 6185-1; pour les bateaux de puissance nominale supérieure ou égale à 15 kW, se référer à l'ISO 6185-3.  La présente partie de l'ISO 6185 ne s'applique pas aux bateaux à chambre unique, ni aux bateaux en matériaux non renforcés ayant une flottabilité supérieure à 12 kN et équipés d'un moteur d'une puissance supérieure à 4,5 kW, ni aux jouets aquatiques et radeaux de sauvetage pneumatiques.

Napihljivi čolni - 2. del: Čolni z motorjem z močjo med 4,5 kW in 15 kW (ISO 6185-2:2001)

Ta del standarda ISO 6185 določa minimalne varnostne lastnosti, zahtevane za načrtovanje, materiale za uporabo, izdelavo in preskušanje napihljivih čolnov (vključno z napihljivimi čolni, ki imajo v spodnjem delu trupa togo enoto) s skupno dolžino manj kot 8 m in plovnostjo najmanj 1800 N.
Ta del standarda ISO 6185 se uporablja za naslednje tipe napihljivih čolnov, namenjenih za uporabo pri delovnih temperaturah od –15 °C do 60 °C:
– tip V: napihljivi čolni, predvideni za motorni pogon z močjo od 4,5 kW do največ 15 kW;
– tip VI: napihljiva plovila na jadra s površino jader več kot 6 m2 (glej normativni dodatek A);
OPOMBA: Za čolne z motorjem z močjo 4,5 kW ali manj glej ISO 6185-1, za čolne z motorjem z močjo 15 kW ali več pa ISO 6185-3.
Ta del standarda ISO 6185 ne zajema enokabinskih čolnov in čolnov, izdelanih iz nepodprtih materialov, s plovnostjo več kot 12 kN in motorjem z močjo več kot 4,5 kW ter se ne uporablja za vodne igrače in napihljive rešilne splave.

EN ISO 6185-2:2018 (E) 3 European foreword The text of ISO 6185-2:2001 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 “Small craft” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 6185-2:2018. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2019. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
