Dieser Teil von ISO 6974 ist nur in Zusammenhang mit Teil 1 von ISO 6974 anwendbar.

L'ISO 6974-2:2001 décrit le traitement des données pour l'analyse sur mesure du gaz naturel. Elle comprend la détermination des caractéristiques du système de mesurage et de l'approche statistique pour le traitement des données et le calcul des erreurs, avec pour objectif la définition de l'incertitude des fractions molaires du constituant mesuré.
L'ISO 6974-2:2001 n'est applicable que conjointement avec l'ISO 6974-1.
