Monolithic (unshaped) refractory products - Part 4: Determination of consistency of castables (ISO 1927-4:2012)

ISO 1927-4:2012 describes methods for the determination and measurement of the consistency of dense and insulating castables as defined in ISO 1927-1:2012. It is applicable to all types of dense regular castables, dense deflocculated castables and insulating castables to determine the liquid addition necessary for preparing test pieces according to ISO 1927-5:2012.

Dieser Teil der ISO 1927 legt Verfahren zur Bestimmung und Messung der Konsistenz von dichten und wärmedämmenden Feuerbetonen, wie sie in ISO 1927 1 definiert sind, fest. Er ist für sämtliche Arten von herkömmlichen dichten Feuerbetonen, verflüssigten dichten Feuerbetonen und wärmedämmenden Feuerbetonen anwendbar, um die zur Herstellung von Probekörpern nach ISO 1927 5 benötigte Flüssigkeitszugabe zu ermitteln.

L'ISO 1927-4:2012 spécifie des méthodes pour la détermination et la mesure de la consistance des bétons denses et isolants tels que définis dans I'ISO 1927-1. Elle s'applique à tous les types de bétons denses conventionnels, de bétons denses défloculés et de bétons isolants pour déterminer la quantité de liquide devant être ajoutée afin de préparer des éprouvettes conformément à l'ISO 1927-5.

This document (EN ISO 1927-4:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 33 "Refractories"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 187 “Refractory products and materials” the secretariat of
which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2013.
