Respiratory protective devices - Half masks without inhalation valves and with separable filters to protect against gases or gases and particles or particles only - Requirements, testing, marking

This European Standard specifies performance requirements, test methods and marking requirements for half masks (re-usable) without inhalation valves and with separable filters (designed for a maximum of single shift use) to protect against gases or gases and particles or particles only. It does not cover devices designed for use in circumstances where there is or might be an oxygen deficiency (oxygen less than 17 % by volume) or for escape purposes.
Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Leistungsanforderungen, Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen an die
Kennzeichnung für Halbmasken (wiederverwendbar) ohne Einatemventile und mit trennbaren Filtern
(bestimmt zum Gebrauch maximal während einer Schicht) zum Schutz gegen Gase oder Gase und Partikeln
oder nur Partikeln fest. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Geräte, die zum Einsatz bei gegebenem oder möglichem
Sauerstoff-Mangel (weniger als 17 Vol.-% Sauerstoff) bestimmt sind. Sie gilt auch nicht für Fluchtgeräte.
Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den
Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences de performance, les méthodes d'essais et les exigences de
marquage applicables aux demi-masques (réutilisables) dépourvus de soupapes inspiratoires et avec filtres
démontables (pour une durée maximale correspondant à celle d'un poste de travail) conçus pour protéger des gaz,
ou des gaz et des particules ou des particules uniquement. Il ne s'applique pas aux appareils conçus pour être utilisés
dans des situations où il y a ou pourrait y avoir un défaut d'oxygène (teneur en oxygène inférieure à 17 % en volume)
ou dans des situations d'évacuation.
Elle contient des essais en laboratoire et des essais pratiques de performance pour s'assurer de la conformité avec
les spécifications.
