Schiffe und Meerestechnik - Selbststeueranlagen (ISO 11674:2000)

Diese Internationale Norm legt den Aufbau, die Leistung, die Kontrolle und die Prüfung von Selbststeueranlagen fest, die an Bord von Schiffen eingebaut werden sollen.
Sie gilt für Selbststeueranlagen, die ein Schiff in die Lage versetzen, innerhalb der Grenzen, die durch die Manövrierfähigkeit des Schiffes gesetzt sind - zusammen mit ihren zugehörigen Kursinformationsquellen - einen vorher eingestellten Kurs zu halten, wobei die Ruderanlage des Schiffes möglichst we-nig betätigt wird.
Die Selbststeueranlage kann mit einem Bahnführungssystem zusammenarbeiten, das die Schiffsvorausrichtung entsprechend der Drift korrigiert.
Für die Durchführung von Kursänderungen des Schiffes kann eine Drehgeschwindigkeits-regelung oder eine Regelung des Drehradius vorgesehen werden.

Foreword
The text of the International Standard from Technical Committee ISO/TC 8 "Ships and
marine technology" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been
taken over as an European Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 300 "Sea-going
vessels and marine technology", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication
of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2002, and conflicting
national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2002.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations
of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United
Kingdom.
