Protective footwear for motorcycle riders - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard applies to protective footwear for motorcycle riders for use while riding motorcycles for on or off road activities. It specifies the requirements for protection, ergonomic characteristics, innocuousness, mechanical properties, marking and information for users. It also specifies the appropriate test methods.

Diese Europäische Norm findet Anwendung auf Schutzschuhe für Motorradfahrer beim Fahren von Motorrädern auf Straßen oder im Gelände. Sie legt die Anforderungen an den Schutz, die ergonomischen Merkmale, die Unbedenklichkeit, die mechanischen Eigenschaften, die Kennzeichnung und die Information für Anwender fest. Sie legt darüber hinaus die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren fest.

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux chaussures de protection destinées aux motocyclistes lors de la pratique du motocyclisme sur et hors routes. Elle spécifie les exigences relatives à la protection, aux caractéristiques ergonomiques, à l'innocuité, aux propriétés mécaniques, au marquage et aux informations pour les utilisateurs. Elle décrit également les méthodes d'essai appropriées.

Ta evropski standard velja za varovalno obutev za voznike motornih koles, in sicer za uporabo pri vožnji motornih koles po cestiščih ali zunaj njih. Določa zahteve glede zaščite, ergonomske lastnosti, neškodljivosti, mehanskih lastnosti, označevanja in informacij za uporabnike. Opisuje tudi ustrezne preskusne metode.
