This document (EN ISO 4045:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee IULTCS "International
Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies" in collaboration with Technical Committee
CEN/TC 289 “Leather” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2018, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2018.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 4045:2008.

Foreword

Dieser Europäische Norm-Entwurf wird den CEN-Mitgliedern zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt. Er wurde vom Technischen
Komitee CEN/TC 289 erstellt.
Wenn aus diesem Norm-Entwurf eine Europäische Norm wird, sind die CEN-Mitglieder gehalten, die CEN-Geschäftsordnung zu
erfüllen, in der die Bedingungen festgelegt sind, unter denen dieser Europäischen Norm ohne jede Änderung der Status einer

Vorwort
ISO (die Internationale Organisation für Normung) ist eine weltweite Vereinigung von Nationalen
Normungsorganisationen (ISO-Mitgliedsorganisationen). Die Erstellung von Internationalen Normen wird
normalerweise von ISO Technischen Komitees durchgeführt. Jede Mitgliedsorganisation, die Interesse an
einem Thema hat, für welches ein Technisches Komitee gegründet wurde, hat das Recht, in diesem Komitee
vertreten zu sein. Internationale Organisationen, staatlich und nicht-staatlich, in Liaison mit ISO, nehmen
ebenfalls an der Arbeit teil. ISO arbeitet eng mit der Internationalen Elektrotechnischen Kommission (IEC)
bei allen elektrotechnischen Themen zusammen.
Internationale Normen werden nach den Regeln der ISO/IEC-Direktiven Teil 2 gestaltet.
Die Hauptaufgabe der Technischen Komitees ist es, Internationale Normen zu erarbeiten. Die von den
Technischen Komitees verabschiedeten internationalen Norm-Entwürfe werden den Mitglieds-
körperschaften zur Abstimmung vorgelegt. Die Veröffentlichung als Internationale Norm erfordert
Zustimmung von mindestens 75 % der abstimmenden Mitgliedskörperschaften
