Powered industrial trucks- Visibility - Test methods and verification - Part 4 : Industrial variable reach trucks up to and including 10 000 kg capacity

This document specifies the requirements and test procedures for 360° visibility of sit on self-propelled industrial variable-reach trucks (herein after referred to as trucks) without a load, with a capacity up to and including 10 000 kg in accordance with ISO 5053 1 and it is intended be used in conjunction with EN 16842-1.
Where specific requirements in this part are modified from the general requirements in EN 16842-1, the requirements of this part are truck specific and to be used for sit-on self-propelled industrial variable-reach trucks with a capacity up to and including 10 000 kg.
This part of EN 16842 deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations or hazardous events, relevant to the visibility of the operator for applicable machines when used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.
This document does not apply to rough-terrain variable-reach trucks (see EN 15830).

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die 360° Rundumsicht von motorkraftbetriebenen Gegengewichtstaplern mit veränderlicher Reichweite, Fahrersitz (im Folgenden als Flurförderzeug bezeichnet) ohne Last, mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit ≤ 10 000 kg in Übereinstimmung mit ISO 5053 1 fest und soll in Verbindung mit EN 16842 1 verwendet werden.
Wenn spezifische Anforderungen in diesem Teil von den allgemeinen Anforderungen in EN 16842 1 abweichen, sind die Anforderungen in diesem Teil für das Flurförderzeug spezifisch und für motorkraftbetriebenen Gegengewichtstaplern mit veränderlicher Reichweite mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit ≤ 10 000 kg zu verwenden.
Dieser Teil von EN 16842 behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen oder Gefährdungsereignisse, die für die Sichtverhältnisse des Bedieners bei vorgesehener Nutzung der betreffenden Maschinen relevant sind, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß und unter Bedingungen, die vom Hersteller als Fehlanwendung vernünftigerweise vorhersehbar sind, verwendet werden.
Diese Norm ist nicht für geländegängige Stapler mit veränderlicher Reichweite anzuwenden (siehe EN 15830).

Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions et les modes opératoires pour la visibilité sur 360° des chariots de manutention automoteurs à portée variable à conducteur assis (ci-après désignés chariots) sans charge, ayant une capacité allant jusqu'à 10 000 kg inclus conformes à l'ISO 5053-1, et il est destiné à être utilisé conjointement avec l'EN 16842-1.
Lorsque des prescriptions spécifiques de la présente partie sont modifiées par rapport aux prescriptions générales de l'EN 16842-1, les prescriptions de la présente partie sont spécifiques au chariot et sont à utiliser pour les chariots de manutention automoteurs à portée variable à conducteur assis ayant une capacité allant jusqu'à 10 000 kg inclus.
La présente partie de l'EN 16842 traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux, situations dangereuses ou événements dangereux significatifs relatifs à la visibilité du conducteur pour les machines concernées lorsqu'elles sont utilisées comme prévu et dans des conditions de mauvaise utilisation raisonnablement prévisible par le fabricant.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux chariots tout-terrain à portée variable (voir l'EN 15830).

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve in preskusne postopke za 360-stopinjsko vidno polje voznika pri samognanih spremenljivih industrijskih tovornih vozilih s kontejnerji (v nadaljevanju »vozilo«) z zmogljivostjo ≤ 10.000 kg v skladu s standardom ISO 5053-1 ter je namenjen za uporabo skupaj s standardom FprEN 16842-1.
Kjer so posebne zahteve v tem delu spremenjene tako, da se razlikujejo od splošnih zahtev v standardu FprEN 16842-1, so zahteve iz tega dela posebne zahteve za vozila in se uporabljajo za samognane industrijske tovorne in tristrane viličarje z dvižnim položajem upravljavca.
Ta del standarda EN 16842 opisuje vsa večja tveganja, nevarne situacije in nevarne dogodke, kot je navedeno v dodatku ZA, preglednici ZA.1, v zvezi z vidnim poljem upravljavca pri ustreznih strojih, kadar se uporabljajo v skladu z njihovim namenom in pod pogoji pričakovane nepravilne uporabe, ki jih določa proizvajalec.

— Part 5: Industrial variable-reach trucks greater than 10 000 kg capacity

— Part 6: Sit-on counterbalance trucks and rough terrain masted trucks greater than 10 000 kg

capacity;

— Part 7: Variable-reach and masted container trucks handling freight containers of 6 m (20 ft) length

and longer;

— Part 8: Stand on counterbalance trucks up to and including 10 000 kg capacity (in preparation);

— Part 9: Order-picking, lateral- and front-stacking trucks with elevating operator position

— Part 10: Towing and pushing tractors and burden carrier;
It is intended to develop additional parts related to the following machinery:
— Pallet stacking trucks (rider controlled);
— Single side loader;
— Multi-directional forklift truck;
— Articulated counterbalance lift truck;
— Non-stacking low lift straddle carriers (as defined in ISO 5053-1:2015, 3.18);
