This part of European Standard specifies dimensions and requirements of mobile waste containers with 4 wheels, with flat lid(s) and capacity from 750 l to 1700 l to be used by wide trunnion or BG-lifting device and/or wide comb lifting device.

Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm prEN 840 legt Maße und Anforderungen an fahrbare Abfallsammelbehälter (im folgenden kurz Behälter genannt) mit 4 Rädern, mit FLachdeckel(n) und einem Volumen von 750 l bis 1700 l fest, die mit breiter Schüttung für Zapfenaufnahme oder BG-Schüttung und/oder breiter Kammschüttung gehandhabt werden.
