This European Standard specifies dimensions and design requirements of mobile waste containers with 4 wheels, with flat lid(s) and capacity up to 1 700 l to be used by wide trunnion or BG-lifting device and/or wide comb lifting device.

Dieser Teil der EN 840 legt Maße und Anforderungen an die Formgebung von fahrbaren Abfallsammelbehältern (im Folgenden kurz Behälter genannt) mit 4 Rädern, mit Flachdeckel(n) und einem Nennvolumen bis 1 700 l für breite Schüttungen für Zapfenaufnahme oder BG-Schüttungen und/oder breite Kammschüttungen fest.
