Metallic materials - Sheet and strip - Erichsen cupping test (ISO 20482:2013)

ISO 20482:2013 specifies a standard test method for determining the ability of metallic sheets and strips having a thickness from 0,1 mm up to 2 mm and a width of 90 mm or greater to undergo plastic deformation in stretch forming.
For materials that are thicker and when only narrower strips are available, tools of specified dimensions are provided, in which case subscripts are used, as shown in Table 1.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Standardverfahren zur Bestimmung der Streckziehfähigkeit (Tiefungsfähigkeit) metallischer Bleche und Bänder fest, die eine Dicke von 0,1 mm bis 2 mm und eine Breite von 90 mm oder mehr haben.
Bei dickeren Werkstoffen und wenn nur schmalere Bänder zur Verfügung stehen, sind Werkzeuge mit festgelegten Abmessungen vorzusehen, wobei dem Erichsen-Tiefungswert in diesem Fall Indizes beizufügen sind, wie in Tabelle 1 angegeben.

L'ISO 20482:2013 spécifie une méthode d'essai courante pour déterminer l'aptitude à la déformation plastique par emboutissage des tôles et bandes métalliques, d'épaisseur comprise entre 0,1 mm et 2 mm et de largeur égale ou supérieure à 90 mm.
Pour les matériaux plus épais et si seulement des bandes plus étroites sont disponibles, des outils de dimensions spécifiées sont mis à disposition; dans ce cas, des indices sont utilisés, comme illustré dans le Tableau 1.

Ta mednarodni standard določa standardno testno metodo za določanje sposobnosti kovinskih plošč in trakov z debelino od 0,1 mm do 2 mm in širino 90 mm ali več, da prestanejo plastično deformacijo pri nateznem oblikovanju. Za materiale, ki so debelejši, in če so na voljo le ozki trakovi, so zagotovljena orodja določenih dimenzij, pri čemer se uporabi podpisovanje, kot je prikazano v tabeli 1.

The text of ISO 20482:2013 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 164 “Mechanical testing of
metals” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as
EN ISO 20482:2013 by Technical Committee ECISS/TC 101 “Test methods for steel (other than chemical
analysis)” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2014.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 20482:2003.
