Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Sheet, strip and plate - Part 1: Technical conditions for inspection and delivery
This document specifies the technical conditions for inspection and delivery of wrought aluminium and wrought aluminium alloy sheet, strip and plate for general applications. It also includes provisions for ordering and testing.
It applies to products with a thickness over 0,20 mm up to and including 400 mm.
For many special applications of aluminium strip, sheet and plate, specific European Standards exist, where different or additional requirements are formulated and the appropriate alloys and tempers are selected: see Annex A. Most of these special European Standards refer to provisions of this document.
The selection of the relevant special European Standards is under the responsibility of the purchaser.
Whenever the application involves special properties, such as corrosion resistance, toughness, fatigue strength, surface appearance and welding properties, the user should consult the supplier and consider the relevant special European Standard, as applicable.

Dieses Dokument legt die Technischen Lieferbedingungen für Bänder, Bleche und Platten aus Aluminium und Aluminium-Knetlegierungen für allgemeine Verwendungen fest. Es enthält außerdem Festlegungen bezüglich Bestellung und Prüfung.
Es gilt für Erzeugnisse mit einer Dicke über 0,20 mm bis 400 mm.

!Für viele besondere Anwendungen von Aluminiumbändern, -blechen und -platten bestehen spezielle Europäische Normen in denen andere oder ergänzende Anforderungen aufgeführt und geeignete Legierungen und Werkstoffzustände ausgewählt sind, siehe Anhang A. Die meisten dieser speziellen Europäischen Normen beziehen sich auf Festlegungen aus dem vorliegenden Dokument.
Die Verantwortung für die Auswahl der geeigneten speziellen Europäischen Normen liegt beim Käufer.
Schließt die Anwendung spezielle Eigenschaften wie Korrosionsbeständigkeit, Zähigkeit, Dauerfestigkeit, Oberflächenbeschaffenheit und Schweißeigenschaften ein, sollte der Anwender den Lieferer hinzuziehen und die entsprechende spezielle Europäische Norm, wenn zutreffend, berücksichtigen."

Il s’applique aux produits d’épaisseur supérieure à 0,20 mm et inférieure ou égale à 400 mm.

!En ce qui concerne de nombreuses applications spéciales des bandes, tôles et tôles épaisses d’aluminium, des Normes européennes particulières existent, dans lesquelles des exigences différentes ou supplémentaires sont formulées et où les alliages et états métallurgiques adaptés sont sélectionnés : voir Annexe A. La plupart de ces Normes européennes particulières renvoient aux dispositions du présent document.
Le choix des Normes européennes particulières correspondantes relève de la responsabilité de l’acheteur.
Lorsque l’application implique des propriétés particulières, tels que la résistance à la corrosion, ténacité, résistance à la fatigue, aspect de surface et propriétés de soudure, il convient que l’utilisateur consulte le fournisseur et prenne en compte, selon le cas, la Norme européenne particulière correspondante."

Ta dokument opredeljuje tehnične pogoje za pregled in dobavo obdelanega aluminija in obdelano tanko in debelo pločevino ter trakove iz aluminijeve zlitine za »splošno uporabo«. Prva tako vključuje »določbe« za naročanje in preskušanje. Velja za proizvode debeline nad 0.20 mm do in vključno 400 mm. »izbrisano besedilo"! Za številne posebne uporabe aluminijastih trakov ter tanke in debele pločevine obstajajo posebni evropski standardi, kjer so oblikovane različne in dodatne zahteve in kjer so izbrane primerne zlitine in mešanice: glej Prilogo A. Večina teh posebnih evropskih standardov se sklicuje na določbe tega dokumenta. Izbira ustreznega posebnega evropskega standarda je v pristojnosti kupca. Kadar uporaba zahteva posebne lastnosti, kot so odpornost proti koroziji, trdnost, trajna nihajna trdnost, površinski izgled in značilnosti pri varjenju, bi se moral uporabnik posvetovati z dobaviteljem ter upoštevati ustrezni posebni evropski standard, ki se uporablja.

Diese Europäische Norm wurde vom CEN am 19. Januar 2008 angenommen und schließt Änderung 1 ein, die am 20. September 2009
vom CEN angenommen wurde.
Die CEN-Mitglieder sind gehalten, die CEN/CENELEC-Geschäftsordnung zu erfüllen, in der die Bedingungen festgelegt sind, unter denen
