Destructive tests on welds in metallic materials - Tensile test on cruciform and lapped joints (ISO 9018:2003)

IS0 9018:2003 specifies the sizes of test pieces and test specimens and the procedure for carrying out tensile tests in order to determine the tensile strength and the location of fracture of welded joints with transverse stressed fillet welds. It applies to metallic materials with welded cruciform and lapped joints on plates.
Information concerning evaluation of test results is not included in this International Standard.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Abmessungen der Prüfstücke und der Proben sowie die Verfahren fest, um Zugprüfungen zur Bestimmung der Zugfestigkeit und der Bruchlage in geschweißten Verbindungen bei querbeanspruchten Kehlnähten durchzuführen.
Diese Norm bezieht sich auf metallische Werkstoffe mit geschweißten Doppel-T- und Überlappstößen an Blechen ).

L'ISO 9018:2003 spécifie les dimensions des pièces d'essai et des éprouvettes ainsi que le mode opératoire d'essai de traction pour déterminer la résistance à la traction et l'emplacement de la cassure pour des assemblages soudés comportant des soudures d'angle soumises à des contraintes transversales. Elle s'applique aux assemblages en croix et à recouvrement de tôles en matériaux métalliques.
L'ISO 9018:2003 ne fournit pas d'informations sur l'évaluation des résultats d'essai.

This document (EN ISO 9018:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44
"Welding and allied processes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121
"Welding", the secretariat of which is held by DS.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2004, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2004.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
