EN 143:1990

Respiratory protective devices - Particle filters - Requirements, testing, marking

This European Standard refers to particle filters for use as components in unassisted respiratory protective devices, except escape apparatus and filtering facepieces.   Laboratory tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.   Some filters complying with this standard may also be suitable for use with order types of respiratory protective devices and if so shall be tested and marked according to the appropriate European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm bezieht sich auf Partikelfilter als Einzelteile für Atemschutzgeräte ohne Luftversorgung; sie gilt nicht für Fluchtgeräte und filtrierende Atemanschlüsse. Laborprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können. Einige Filter, die dieser Norm entsprechen, können auch zum Gebrauch mit anderen Atemschutzgeräten geeignet sein. Falls dies zutrifft, müssen sie gemäss der entsprechenden Europäischen Norm geprüft und gekennzeichnet sein.

La présente Norme Européenne se rapporte contre les particules comme composant des appareils de protection respiratoire sans assistance à l'exception des appareils destinés à l'évacuation et des pièces faciales filtrantes. Elle contient des essais de laboratoire pour assurer la conformité avec les spécifications. Certains filtres conformes aux spécifications de cette norme peuvent également être utilisés avec d'autres types d'appareils de protection respiratoire et dans ce cas, ils doivent être essayés et marqués selon la Norme Européenne appropriée
