EN 474-8:2006

Earth-moving machinery - Safety - Part 8: Requirements for graders

This part of EN 474 deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to graders as defined in EN ISO 6165:2006, when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4).
This part also deals with graders equipped with attached snowplough.
The requirements of this part are complementary to the common requirements formulated in EN 474-1:2006.
This part does not repeat the requirements from EN 474-1:2006, but adds or replaces the requirements for application for graders.
This part specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events during commissioning, operation and maintenance of graders.
This European Standard is not applicable to graders manufactured before the date of publication of this European Standard by CEN.

Erdbaumaschinen - Sicherheit - Teil 8: Anforderungen für Grader

Dieser Teil der EN 474 behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse, die auf Grader, wie in EN ISO 6165:2006 definiert, zutreffen, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß verwendet werden. Die nach vernünftigem Ermessen für den Hersteller vorhersehbare Nutzung der Maschine außerhalb der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung ist ebenfalls berücksichtigt (siehe Abschnitt 4).
Dieser Teil behandelt auch Grader, welche mit Schneeräumschild ausgerüstet sind.
Die Anforderungen gelten ergänzend zu den allgemeinen Anforderungen der EN 474-1:2006.
Dieser Teil wiederholt nicht die Anforderungen der EN 474-1:2006, aber ergänzt oder ersetzt diese für den Einsatz von Gradern.
Dieser Teil beschreibt die geeigneten technischen Maßnahmen, die erforderlich sind, die Risiken, die aufgrund signifikanter Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse, die während der Inbetriebnahme, des Betriebs, der Instandhaltung von Gradern eintreten können, zu beseitigen oder zu mindern.
Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht anzuwenden für Grader, die vor der Veröffentlichung dieser Europäischen Norm durch CEN hergestellt wurden.

Engins de terrassement - Sécurité - Partie 8: Prescriptions applicables aux niveleuses

Cette Norme Européenne doit être utilisée conjointement avec le prEN 474-1 : 2001 Engins de terrassement - Sécurité - Partie 1: Prescriptions générales, qui spécifie les prescriptions générales pour les engins de terrassement.
Cette Norme Européenne donne des prescriptions complémentaires et/ou des exceptions au prEN 474-1 : 2001.
Cette Norme Européenne s'applique aux niveleuses telles que définies dans l'EN ISO 6165: 1999, et donne des prescriptions complémentaires pour les machines dérivées.
Cette Norme Européenne traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux significatifs relatifs aux niveleuses lorsqu'elles sont utilisées selon les conditions prévues par le constructeur. (Voir l'annexe A de cette norme et l'annexe A du prEN 474-1 : 2001). Cette Norme Européenne spécifie les mesures techniques appropriées pour éliminer ou réduire les risques dus aux phénomènes dangereux significatifs.
Lorsque des niveleuses sont prévues pour être utilisées pour le service hivernal, voir le prEN 13021 « machines pour le service hivernal - prescriptions de sécurité » )
La présente norme Européenne s'appliquent aux niveleuses qui sont fabriquées après sa publication.
