Gas welding equipment - Quick-action coupling with shut-off valves for welding, cutting and allied processes
This standard defines the specifications and the type tests for quick-action couplings with shut-off valves. It applies to quick-action couplings used between the regulator and the torch in equipment for gas welding, cutting and allied processes.
This standard applies to cases where these couplings are used with hoses according to EN 559 or threaded unions according to EN 560.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Norm enthält Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Schlauchkupplungen mit selbsttätiger Gassperre. Sie gilt für Schlauchkupplungen, die zwischen Druckregler und Brenner an Geräten für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse verwendet werden.
Diese Norm gilt für diejenigen Fälle, wo diese Kupplungen mit Schläuchen nach EN 559 oder Anschlussgewinde nach EN 560 angewendet werden.

La présente norme définit les spécifications et les essais de type pour les raccords rapides à obturation. Elle s'applique aux raccords rapides à obturation utilisés dans les équipements pour le soudage aux gaz, le coupage et les techniques connexes entre le détendeur et le chalumeau.
La présente norme s'applique dans la mesure où ces raccords sont utilisés avec des tuyaux souples conformes à l'EN 559 ou avec des raccords filetés conformes à l'EN 560.
