Special national conditions
Special national condition: National characteristic or practice that cannot be changed even over a long
period, e.g. climatic conditions, electrical earthing conditions.
NOTE  If it affects harmonization, it forms part of the European Standard or Harmonization Document.
For the countries in which the relevant special national condition apply these provisions are normative, for
other countries they are informative.
Subclause Special national condition
4.1 In Finland, Norway and Sweden, the temperature in winter may be extremely low. For
OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT this will demand special design so that the equipment can
withstand transport, erection and operation/service at temperatures down to -50 °C.
10.2 In Finland, Norway and Sweden there are additional requirements for the minimum
ambient temperature. See 4.1 of this annex.
D.3 In Finland, Norway and Sweden there are additional requirements for the minimum
ambient temperature. See 4.1 of this annex.
