Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-90: Particular requirements for commercial microwave ovens

IEC 60335-2-90-A1:2010 Amendment 1 NOTE The attention of National Committees is drawn to the fact that equipment manufacturers and testing organizations may need a transitional period following publication of a new, amended or revised IEC publication in which to make products in accordance with the new requirements and to equip themselves for conducting new or revised tests. It is the recommendation of the committee that the content of this publication be adopted for implementation nationally not earlier than 12 months or later than 36 months from the date of publication.

CEI 60335-2-90-A1:2010 Amendement 1 NOTE L'attention des Comités Nationaux est attirée sur le fait que les fabricants d'appareils et les organismes d'essai peuvent avoir besoin d'une période transitoire après la publication d'une nouvelle publication CEI, ou d'une publication amendée ou révisée, pour fabriquer des produits conformes aux nouvelles exigences et pour adapter leurs équipements aux nouveaux essais ou aux essais révisés. Le comité recommande que le contenu de cette publication soit entériné au niveau national au plus tôt 12 mois et au plus tard 36 mois après la date de publication.

Ta mednarodni standard obravanava: •varnost mikrovalovnih pečic z dvojnimi vrati za gospodarsko uporabo, katerih ocenjena napetost je manjša od 250 V za enofazne aparate, priključene med eno fazo in nevtralno, ter 480 V za druge aparate, – varnost kombiniranih mikrovalovnih pečic z dvojnimi vrati, katerih zahteve so zajete v dodatku AA; – varnost mikrovalovnih pečic brez dvojnih vrat in z načini prevoza, ki se uporabljajo v gospodarstvu za gretje hrane in pijač, katerih zahteve so zajete v dodatku BB.

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 60335-2-90:2006; it was approved by CENELEC on
2010-09-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which
stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the Central Secretariat or to any CENELEC member.

This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

The text of document 61B/416/FDIS, future amendment 1 to IEC 60335-2-90:2006, prepared by SC 61B
of the IEC Technical Committee 61, Safety of household and similar electrical appliances, was submitted
to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as amendment A1 to
EN 60335-2-90:2006 on 2010-09-01.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN and CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
The following dates are applicable:
