EN 60754-2:2014/A1:2020 (equivalent to IEC 60754-2:2011/A1:2019) is a CENELEC-adopted test-method standard for assessing gases evolved during the combustion of cable materials. It specifies procedures to determine acidity (by pH measurement) and conductivity of the absorption solution produced during cable combustion. Amendment A1 updates test apparatus, sampling and analytical requirements and aligns the heating/combustion procedure with IEC 60754-3.
