Fire hazard testing - Part 7-2: Toxicity of fire effluent - Summary and relevance of test methods

Gives a brief summary of the test methods that are in common use in the assessment of lethal and sublethal acute toxic potency, and other toxicity tests. It includes special observations on their relevance to real fire scenarios and gives recommendations on their use. It advises which tests provide toxic potency data which is relevant to real fire scenarios, and which are suitable for use in fire hazard assessment and fire safety engineering. Has the status of a basic safety publication in accordance with IEC Guide 104.

Ta del IEC 60695 podaja kratek povzetek preskusnih metod, ki so v splošni uporabi pri ocenjevanju akutne učinkovitosti strupa in drugih preskusov toksičnosti. Vključuje posebne ugotovitve glede njihove pomembnosti za realne požarne scenarije ter podaja priporočila za njihovo uporabo. Svetuje, kateri preskusi zagotavljajo podatke o učinkovitosti strupa, ki so pomembni za realne požarne scenarije, in kateri so primerni za uporabo pri ocenjevanju nevarnosti požara in načrtovanju požarne varnosti. Ta osnovna varnostna objava je namenjena temu, da jo uporabljajo tehnični odbori pri pripravi standardov v skladu z načeli, opredeljenimi v Vodilu 104 IEC in Vodilu 51 ISO/IEC.
