BRIEF HISTORY
The IS0 Recommendation R 103, Sizes and Mounting Dimensions of Aircrap Instrument
Cases (Rear-Mounting Type), was drawn up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 20, Aircraft,
the Secretariat of which is held by the British Standards Institution (B.S.I.).
This IS0 Recommendation is based on proposals made by the French Member Body
and adopted by the Technical Committee during its third meeting, held in Amsterdam,
in November 1953. The following Member Bodies took part in this meeting:

On 31 October 1956, the Draft IS0 Recommendation proposed by ISO/TC 20 was
distributed to all the IS0 Member Bodies and was approved, subject to some minor
amendments, by the following 21 (out of a total of 38) Member Bodies:
