Agricultural machinery - Rotary mowers and flail-mowers - Safety

This standard specifies specific safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of rotary mowers and flail-mowers with one or several vertical axes or a horizontal axis, mounted, semi-mounted, trailed or self-propelled.  This standard is also applicable to mowers equipped with a conditioning device.  This standard applies only to mowers intended to work at  ground level.  NOTE 1 : Examples of such machines are given in annex D.1.  It does not apply to :  - mowers with an articulated arm ;  NOTE 2 : An example of such a machine is given in annex D.2.  - pedestrian controlled motor mowers (dealt with in prEN 127331) ; - lawn mowers or machines designed as lawn mowers dealt with in EN 836; - inter-row mowing units (dealt with in prEN...1)  In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer.  The list of significant hazards dealt with in this standard is given in annex A. Annex A also indicates the hazards which have not been dealt with.  Environmental aspects have not been considered in this standard.  This standard applies primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of the standard.  1) note in preparation

Landmaschinen - Kreiselmähwerke und Schlegelmäher - Sicherheit

Diese Norm enthält besondere sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und deren Überprüfung für die Gestaltung und Konstruktion von angebauten, aufgesattelten, gezogenen oder selbstfahrenden Kreiselmähwerken und Schlegelmähern mit einer oder mehreren senkrechten Achsen oder mit einer waagerechten Achse. Diese Norm gilt auch für Mähwerke, die mit einer Aufbereitungseinrichtung ausgerüstet sind . Diese Norm gilt nur für Mähwerke, die in Bodennähe arbeiten.

Matériel agricole - Faucheuses rotatives et faucheuses-broyeuses - Sécurité

La présente norme détermine les prescriptions de sécurité spécifiques et les vérifications pour la conception et la construction des faucheuses rotatives et des faucheuses-broyeuses, a un ou plusieurs axes verticaux ou a axe horizontal, portées, semi-portées, traînées ou automotrices.  Elle s'applique également aux faucheuses équipées d'un dispositif de conditionnement de fourrage.  Cette norme s'applique exclusivement aux faucheuses destinées a travailler au niveau du sol.
