Eurocode 3 - Design of steel structures - Part 1-8: Joints

1.1   Scope of EN 1993 1 8
(1) This document gives design methods for the design of joints subject to predominantly static loading using all steel grades from S235 up to and including S700 unless otherwise stated in individual clauses.
1.2   Assumptions
(1) The assumptions of EN 1990 and EN 1993-1-1 apply to this document.
(2) The design methods given in this part of EN 1993 are applicable when the quality of construction is as specified in EN 1090 2 or EN 1090 4, and that the construction materials and products used are those specified in the relevant parts of EN 1993, or in the relevant material and product specifications.

1.1   Anwendungsbereich von EN 1993 1 8
(1) Dieses Dokument enthält Regeln für den Entwurf, die Berechnung und die Bemessung von Anschlüssen aus Stahl mit allen Stahlsorten von S235 bis einschließlich S700 unter vorwiegend ruhender Belastung, sofern in einzelnen Abschnitten nicht anders angegeben.
1.2   Annahmen
(1) Für dieses Dokument gelten die Annahmen nach EN 1990 und EN 1993 1 1.
(2) Die in diesem Teil von EN 1993 angegebenen Bemessungsverfahren sind anwendbar, wenn die Qualität der Konstruktion den Festlegungen nach EN 1090 2 oder EN 1090 4 entspricht und die verwendeten Baustoffe und Bauprodukte den Festlegungen nach den maßgebenden Teilen von EN 1993 oder den maßgebenden Baustoff- und Bauproduktspezifikationen entsprechen.

1.1   Domaine d'application de l'EN 1993-1-8
(1) Le présent document donne des méthodes de calcul d'assemblages soumis à un chargement essentiellement statique en utilisant toutes les nuances d'acier de S235 jusqu'à S700 inclus, sauf indication contraire dans certains paragraphes.
1.2   Hypothèses
(1) Les hypothèses de l'EN 1990 et de l'EN 1993-1-1 s'appliquent au présent document.
(2) Les règles données dans cette partie de l'EN 1993 sont applicables lorsque le niveau de qualité de construction est tel que spécifié dans l'EN 1090 2 ou l'EN 1090 4 et que les matériaux et produits de construction utilisés sont ceux qui sont spécifiés dans les parties correspondantes de l'EN 1993 ou dans les spécifications de matériaux et produits appropriées.

1.2   Predpostavke
(1) Predpostavke standardov EN 1990 in EN 1993-1-1 se uporabljajo tudi za ta dokument.
(2) Metode za projektiranje, podane v tem delu standarda EN 1993, se uporabljajo, če je kakovost gradnje takšna, kot je določeno v standardu EN 1090-2 ali EN 1090-4, ter so uporabljeni gradbeni materiali in izdelki iz ustreznih delov standarda EN 1993 ali ustreznih specifikacij za materiale in izdelke.
