Zerstörende Prüfung von Schweißverbindungen an metallischen Werkstoffen - Längszugversuch an Schweißgut in Schmelzschweißverbindungen (ISO 5178:2001)
Diese Internationale Norm legt die Maße der Proben und das Verfahren zur Durchführung von Längszugversuchen an zylindrischen Proben fest, mit denen die mechanischen Eigenschaften des Schweißgutes einer Schmelzschweißverbindung ermittelt wurden.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt für metallische Werkstoffe jeder Herstellungsart, deren Verbindung mit einem beliebeigen Schmelzschweißprozess hergestellt wurde, wobei die Maße genügend groß sind, um zylindrische Proben in Übereinstimmung mit ISO 6892 herzustellen.
Soweit in dieser Internationalen Norm nicht abweichend festgelegt, sind die allgemeinen Grundsätze aus ISO 6892 anzuwenden.

The text of ISO 5178:2001 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding and allied
processes” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO
5178:2011 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 876:1995.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
