Pressure Equipment - Part 5: Compliance and Inspection Documentation of Materials

It is the pressure equipment manufacturers responsibility to assure that materials for pressure equipment comply with the requirements of the relevant pressure equipment material standard. This Part describes how this shall be applied to materials intended for the manufacturing of pressure parts and attachments to pressure parts. A summary of the routes for compliance and inspection documentation is shown in figure 1-1.

Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Druckgeräteherstellers sicherzustellen, daß die Werkstoffe für Druckgeräte den Anforderungen der zutreffenden Werkstoffnorm für Druckgeräte entsprechen. Dieser Teil beschreibt, wie dies auf Werkstoffe anzuwenden ist, die für die Herstellung von drucktragenden Teilen und deren Anbauteilen bestimmt sind. Eine Zusammenstellung der Verfahrensschritte für die Konformitäts- und Prüfbescheinigungen ist in Bild 1-1 dargestellt.

Cette partie de la Norme européenne concerne la conformité des matériaux pour équipements sous pression aux exigences de la spécification de matériau pour équipement sous pression appropriée. La présente partie décrit comment appliquer cette prescription aux matériaux destinés a la fabrication des parties sous pression et des éléments qui y sont attachés.
La Figure 1 résume les différentes possibilités pour les documents de conformité et de contrôle. Des orientations concernant les procédures d'approbation et d'évaluation des matériaux sont données en annexe A.

EN 764-5:2002 (E)5The declaration of compliance consists of a declaration of the material manufacturer that the product supplied is incompliance with the requirements of the specification and the order and an inspection document as defined in 3.2to 3.4.NOTEInspection documents to EN 10204:1991 type 2.1 and 2.2 include the declaration of the material manufacturer.3.2 Material for main pressure bearing parts in category II, III and IVFor material intended for use as main pressure bearing parts of pressure equipment classified in categories II, IIIand IV, a specific inspection and testing route according to clauses 4 or 5 shall be followed.
