IEC 60676:2024 This document specifies the basic test procedures, conditions and methods for establishing the main performance parameters and the main operational characteristics of furnaces for direct arc heating, forming arcs between the electrode and metal, such as electric arc furnaces using alternating current (EAF AC) or direct current (EAF DC), and ladle furnaces (LF), with rated power level above 500 kVA .
This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) The structure has been redrafted according to IEC 60398:2015.
b) The scope has been redrafted.
c) The terms/definitions, normative references and bibliography have been updated and completed.
d) The test methods and content from IEC 60398:2015 have been confirmed, replaced, or complemented with regards to direct arc furnaces (EAF, LF).
e) The annexes from IEC 60398:2015 have been confirmed, replaced, or complemented with regards to direct arc furnaces (EAF, LF).

L’IEC 60676:2024 spécifie les procédures, les conditions et les méthodes d'essai fondamentales pour établir les principaux paramètres de performance et les principales caractéristiques de fonctionnement des fours qui utilisent le chauffage par arc direct, qui forme des arcs entre l'électrode et le métal, tels que les fours à arc électrique à courant alternatif (EAF AC, Electric Arc Furnace using Alternating Current) ou à courant continu (EAF DC, Electric Arc Furnace using Direct Current), et les fours poches (LF, Ladle Furnace), avec un niveau de puissance assignée supérieur à 500 kVA.
Cette quatrième édition annule et remplace la troisième édition parue en 2011. Cette édition constitue une révision technique.
Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l'édition précédente:
a) la structure a été alignée sur l'IEC 60398:2015;
b) le domaine d'application a été repris;
c) les termes et définitions, les références normatives et la bibliographie ont été mis à jour et complétés;
d) les méthodes d'essai et le contenu de l'IEC 60398:2015 ont été confirmés, remplacés ou complétés en ce qui concerne les fours à arc direct (FAE, LF);
e) les annexes de l'IEC 60398:2015 ont été confirmées, remplacées ou complétées en ce qui concerne les fours à arc direct (FAE, LF).
La version française de la norme n'a pas été soumise au vote.

Oprema za industrijsko električno ogrevanje - Preskusne metode za peči z odkritim oblokom (IEC 60676:2024)

Standard IEC 60676:2024 določa osnovne preskusne postopke, pogoje in metode za določanje glavnih parametrov zmogljivosti ter glavnih značilnosti delovanja peči za neposredno obločno gretje, ki tvorijo obloke med elektrodo in kovino, na primer električne obločne peči, ki uporabljajo izmenični tok (EAF AC) ali enosmerni tok (EAF DC), in ponovčne peči (LF) z ravnjo nazivne moči več kot 500 kVA.
Četrta izdaja razveljavlja in nadomešča tretjo izdajo, objavljeno leta 2011. Ta izdaja je tehnično popravljena izdaja.
Ta izdaja v primerjavi s prejšnjo vključuje naslednje pomembne tehnične spremembe:
a) struktura je bila preoblikovana v skladu s standardom IEC 60398:2015;
b) področje uporabe je bilo preoblikovano;
c) izrazi in definicije, zveze s standardi ter literatura so bili posodobljeni in dopolnjeni;
d) preskusne metode in vsebina iz standarda IEC 60398:2015 so bile potrjene, nadomeščene ali dopolnjene v zvezi s pečmi z odkritim oblokom (električne obločne peči, ponovčne peči);
