IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national
standards institues (IS0 member bodies). The work of developing International Standards is

UVOD
Standard SIST ISO 1891 (en), Zati~i, vijaki, matice in pribor - Terminologija in nomenklatura,
prva izdaja, 1996, ima status slovenskega standarda in je z metodo platnice prevzet
mednarodni standard ISO 1891, Bolts, screws, nuts and accessories - Terminology and
nomenclature, prva izdaja, 1979-12-15.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Mednarodni standard ISO 1891:1979 je pripravil tehni~ni odbor ISO/TC 2 Fasteners. Odlo~itev
za prevzem tega standarda po metodi platnice je sprejel tehni~ni odbor USM/TC SEL Strojni
elementi.
Ta slovenski standard je dne 1995-12-29 odobril direktor USM.

FOREWORD
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national
standards institues (IS0 member bodies). The work of developing International Standards is
carried out through IS0 technical committees. Every member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been set up has the right to be represented on that committee.
International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take
part in the work.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the
member bodies for approval before their acceptance as International Standards by the IS0
Council.
International Standard IS0 1891 was developed by Technical Committee lSO/TC 2, Fasteners,
and was circulated to the member bodies in March 1977.
