This document (EN ISO 9073-4:2021) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 "Textiles"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of
which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2021, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by August 2021.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of

This document supersedes EN ISO 9073-4:1997.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards

Dieser Europäische Norm-Entwurf wird den CEN-Mitgliedern zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt. Er wurde vom Technischen
Komitee CEN/TC 248 erstellt.

Vorwort
ISO (die Internationale Organisation für Normung) ist eine weltweite Vereinigung nationaler
Normungsorganisationen (ISO-Mitgliedsorganisationen). Die Erstellung von Internationalen Normen wird
üblicherweise von Technischen Komitees von ISO durchgeführt. Jede Mitgliedsorganisation, die Interesse an

Diese dritte Ausgabe ersetzt die zweite Ausgabe (ISO 9073-4:1997), die technisch überarbeitet wurde.
Die wesentlichen Änderungen im Vergleich zur Vorgängerausgabe sind folgende:
— das Wert-Verfahren für eine einzelne Messprobe wurde modifiziert, indem das Prüfergebnis für eine
einzelne Messprobe vom Mittelwert der Reihe signifikanter Beanspruchungsspitzen zur Höchstkraft
geändert wurde.

Trapezoidverfahrens fest.
